Access to Playa de Formentor is via the winding MA-2210.During the summer months (01.06.-30.09.) the road is closed to private traffic between 10:00 and 22:30.During this time, we recommend using the shuttle bus line 334 from Alcúdia or Port de Pollença.
By boat
Arriving by boat is a particularly attractive alternative.There are regular excursion boats from Port de Pollença and Alcúdia that dock directly at Playa de Formentor.
By bike
If you’re feeling sporty, you can travel here by bike.The route from Port de Pollença to Playa de Formentor is around 6.4 kilometers long and has an average gradient of 5.9%.A stopover at the Mirador Es Colomer, which offers a breathtaking view, is particularly worthwhile.
