Travel documents: What do you need?<\/h2>\n

As a German citizen, you can enter Mallorca with the following documents.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Traveling with children: What to consider?<\/h2>\n

    A separate children’s passport is required for children under the age of 12.<\/span> Since January 1, 2024, the children’s passport will no longer be reissued, but existing documents will remain valid until the expiration date printed on them.<\/span> <\/p>\n

      Registration in the central register of foreigners<\/strong> : Registration in the “Registro Central de Extranjeros” is mandatory and leads to the assignment of the NIE number (N\u00famero de Identidad de Extranjero), which is required for many administrative processes in Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Evidence:<\/strong> A valid passport or identity card, proof of sufficient financial means and health insurance are required for registration.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Citizens of countries outside the EU and the Schengen area require a valid passport and, in most cases, a visa to enter Spain.<\/span> The stay is usually limited to 90 days within a period of 180 days.<\/span> <\/p>\n
