When you visit Mallorca, be sure to visit the weekly markets to learn more about the island and its people. These markets are held daily between 9:00 am and 1:30 pm in various locations, with the Sunday market in Pollensa being particularly nice. Here visitors and locals from all parts of the island meet. Other recommended markets are Santa Maria (also on Sundays), Sineu (Wednesdays) and Inca (Thursdays).
In these markets you can buy not only flowers, fruits and vegetables, but also local products such as sobrassada, butifarón or cheese. Handmade items such as leather bags, jewelry, accessories and clothing are also particularly popular.

Friday: Algaida, Binissalem, Can Picafort, Llucmajor, María de la Salut, Pont d’Inca, Son Servera and Sa Cabaneta.
Saturday: Alaro, Búger, Bunyola, Cala Rajada, Campos, Costitx, Esporles (first Saturday of the month), Palma, Santanyí, Sóller, Santa Eugènia and Santa Margalida.
Sunday: Alcúdia, Consell (flea market), Felanitx, Llucmajor, Muro, Pollensa, Porto Cristo, Santa Maria del Camí, Valldemossa and Sa Pobla.
